Audio guide Narration for Ministry of Culture Museums
KÜLTÜR BAKANLIĞI MÜZELER İÇİN SESLİ REHBERLİK UYGULAMASI SESLENDİRME
I provided voice-over narration for audio guide applications prepared for some of Türkiye’s most important museums under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The aim of this project was to strengthen the bond between visitors and the spaces they explore transforming historical information from a dry, factual account into a lived, sensorial experience. Here, the voice was not merely a tool of transmission, but a narrator carrying the memory of the place itself.
From Ephesus to Patara, from Mount Nemrut to the museums of Sivas and Mardin, and from the Museum of the History of Islamic Science and Technology to many other cultural heritage sites across different regions of Türkiye, each location was approached with a tone and rhythm suited to its unique spirit. In these historically layered spaces, the pace, emphasis, and emotional balance of the narration were carefully designed to move in harmony with the visitor’s footsteps.
In this compilation, which brings together my voice-over work for various museums and contents, you can listen to a selection of excerpts. Aiming to make the unseen layers of cultural heritage perceptible through sound, this work stands out as an approach that brings space and narrative together through the power of storytelling.
